PRESS RELEASE, Multiplier Event in Arradipou, Cyprus

“The brain is not a cup waiting to be filled but a fire waiting to be lit up!”. This is the phrase that the educators from Lykeio Aradippou used to encourage the participants of the Multiplier Event to participate in more European Projects.

The third Multiplier Event of the Project “VR in School Education & Civic Participation” was organized with a great success from Lykeio Aradippou, our Cypriot Partners! On Friday 19th of November 2021, the Cypriot school welcomed the participants on the premises to the School itself (5 Annageniseos Str., P.C 7101 Aradipou, Cyprus) to showcase the results of the project.

The project is a KA2 Strategic Partnership funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union for School Education, through the State Scholarships Foundation – IKY (Hellenic National Agency).

The Event gathered 20 participants and among them students and educational personel of the school as well as representatives of school units, of secondary education directorates, local and regional authorities, governmental bodies, civil society and other stakeholders. They got informed about the innovative educational tools developed within the framework of the project, as well as on the ways they can integrate them in their field of work!

Even more importnatly, the students themselves got the opportunity to try the VR technology and experience directly the Simulation of a European Youth Council via the developed application and interacted within the virtual environment!
